On the road

Being on the road is tough. I’ve been away from home for four weeks now, and I miss being home with my family. However, I am grateful to have a job. So many people I know are out of work and scrambling, so I am glad I can work hard, work outside, work with my family (my dad, brother, uncle and aunt are all working on the same job with me) and pay my bills. I am planning to go to Disneyland later in March with the family, and that will be a welcome break.

I go to the gym in the morning before work (I’m way too tired after work, which makes it easy to talk myself out of going) and I think my body is finally getting used to the early start. I’ve woken up for three days now right before my 4 a.m. alarm goes off. Maybe it’s because I haven’t been awake to see 8 p.m. for the last three days.
